H a p p y _ H a l l o w e e n

*evil laughs echo from behind you*

So usually I post up this poem that's SUPER CREEPY called One Last Time, but this year I have a new one for you :) Still creepy, but it's something different. (This is the original poem.)

The Carnival
The first thing you hear.
Do you hear the bells?
Shh, listen to them.
Jingling
Tinkling
Ringing
It's the sound of happiness.
Your happiness.
Come.
Bring friends.
Smile.
Jump.
Dance.
Eat.
Become hypnotized by the colors.
By the smells.
By the lights.
By the sounds.
Come.
See that man?
The one in the top hat
swinging a cane
with a serpent on its
head.
Go over to him.
Step right up, don't be shy.
Lose yourself in the spinning.
Swirling.
Dizzying.
Enchanting.
Mind boggling.
Soul consuming.
Do you hear the bells?
The drums?
The horns playing short, repetitive tunes?
Listen.
Stop for a moment
and look
up at the sky
and sigh
at the stars
and the clouds,
then wonder
if this one day
out of the other
three hundred
sixty
five
is any more special.
Closer your eyes.
You know the answer:
It is.
Step along the dirt
and the sand,
but mind the grass.
On to the next ride.
This one goes upside down.
Hang on tight, you might
fall
out.
Which one is next?
So many choices.
Make sure you don't
lose
your
way.
A haunted house of mirrors.
Choice choices choices.
Is that your reflection?
No, it's a funny mask
with big eyes
and red lips
painted on sweating cheeks.
A big red nose makes you smile,
and green hair wafts the smell of hair spray.
Giggle.
Laugh.
Chuckle.
Grin.
Come, little child, have you lost your way?
It's nearly past midnight.
Where is mother? Where is father?
Here, I will show you the way out.
I will take away the tears
that have yet
to come.
Ringing.
Tinkling.
Jingling.
Shh, listen to them.
Do you hear the bells?
It's the last thing you'll hear.

Also: November Calendar.

Obviously it's not November, BUT... I mean, isn't my schedule for that month going to be fairly predictable??

XD
Happy Halloween!
