Template Applied

Fixed the problem. I now have the autumn template up now (obviously). I'm thinking of making a short writing series for this lovely season. Not sure yet.

Well, actual I should be studying for a science test [tomorrow] so I'll leave this post short. More details later.

What Video Game Character Am I?

Okay, other than me as Emma Dawnrider. I think the survey referred to consol games (xbox, wii, playstation 3 etc).

I got Link.

"Adventurous and brave, you are idealistic do-gooder but are often misled. You're awfully quiet and might be left handed. Go easy on the blue potion and get a new sword."

And I only have a sword because a bow and arrow wasn't an option!!
I'm right handed!!
I haven't played Zelda in a while, what's a blue potion!?!?

:p

Just thought I'd say.

Is this too soon...?

So I'm really excited for halloween.

I know it may seem preliminary, but truth be told I'm not the only one talking about it.

Well... thinking about it.

For the holiday, you'll see me dressed up as Celestria-ninja.

When (and if) I get on this weekend I'll take a screenshot. I've had the out fit for a while. Really, I'm such a hoarder. The colors are dark blue and black. The hat is the wide hood with a mask, the robe is... difficult to explain. The boots are thick lace-ups.

Now, if I could get that out fit in real life, I would scream.

For actual halloween on earth I'm going to be a masked cardinal (the bird). When I was Italy I bought a red feathered mask. Apparently they're made in representation of the Cardinals (people just below the pope in the ranks of holiness).

I need to figure out the rest of the out fit now though...

I'll rearrange my template to fit the season some time into October. Until then -

My Little Wednesday Tid-Bit

So school is piling up the homework. Though it's easy, it comes in quantities that leaves me no free time. When I do happen to have free time, I spend it writing or reading. The reason? My free time is in study halls and on the bus.

:p

Anyway, I'm also spending a lot of time on facebook too. I'm not addicted, but usually the tab is open while I do homework. I only really check it to see if there's any funny pictures or cool quotes.

This one I found and LOVE:
It's just... Storm you know?

And then this one made me laugh so hard:
Ooh, I miss Harry Potter.

And this is a quote from the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephan Chbosky, soon to be a movie. Emma Watson is starring in it, now I really want to go see it.

This one is how it is for my friend Diana Silverwhisper. Only it's firewall, but it' stilly funny.

Any Lord of the Rings / Narnia fans out there?

So I'm sure if you've ever met someone irritating in game (which, I'm know you have), follow this advise...
...and all will be good.

:D

Don't know when I'll be on. I didn't make it this weekend. But I'm completely ready for friday. In my next post I may put up Maelstrom chapter one. Black Ivy STILL hasn't been posted up on the website. I may send it in again. Along with chapter two maybe...

I've been writing a lot of Maelstrom in my notebook. However, since I just started at a random spot and kept writing, I don't know where to end the chapter. It's up to 20 pages.

"But Emma! When do you find the time to write all that?"

Well... uh... hmm... Math class mostly. As well as history. And sometimes in english too.

I'm so terrible.

Well, that's it.

A Quick Note on Storm

I don't know when, but I'll probably do some sort of overview on the School of Storm. Not entirely sure what I'll include -

- and wow. My lap top is a foot and a half away from my face and the letters in the posting box are blurry without meh glasses. That's sad.

Um, sorry for that interruption, unnecessary information.

Anyhow. Not sure when I'll do it. I know I say I'll do a lot of things, so this might be shoved to that list. So if I forget, and you do want to hear such a post, drop a comment and remind me!

Mind you, since I'm only a level 54, my knowledge can be viewed as both limited and expansive. I do my research, but my experience is minimal. Just fyi.

Eccentric Myrna Holystone

Well, that's my P101, so says this:

I think I like "Hollystone" better. The short "o" sounds better in holly with the long "o" from stone.
Just a thought.

I have never been happier to see a friday.

I might be on this weekend, if so I myself will be on and off, checking to see if anyone is at M's dungeon. Otherwise I'll probably be questing with Sarai (Life alt) or Elizabeth (Balance alt).

Also, (haha) I did a major make over on my second, completely before neglected blog. If you got a moment, check it out here and tell me what you think.

Oh, hi there. Good morning.

Yes, I am posting at 6:33 am (that'd be in the morning to you).

So good morning!

You see, I'm also at school. When I want to get a ride into school, we need to leave early. And I mean early. Really, the only other people here are the janitors, kitchen staff, and my math teacher (don't ask me why).

But I had the weirdest sense of deja vu when I got out of the car. This luke-warm weather, a dark blue sky. It reminded me of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Hopefully the place that'll I be going to this February for.... Is it spring break? Whatever, during some week-long break from school.

However, I really want to go there now.

Badly.

Anyway, now I'm sitting in the cafeteria. Alone. At 6:35. And school doesn't start till 8:15!!!

I'm sorry to say that, as I said I would last post, that this post isn't a picture post.

Reason?

I'm on my computer.

The one I got Sunday.

No pictures transfered yet.

So, please wait me out people.

Thanks.

Have a nice day!

P.S.
So, if you don't read this this morning, like if you're reading this at night, then I suppose I should wish that you had a good day.

THEY SAID EARLY OCTOBER!!!

Yes! You heard me! Pirate101 is said to launch in early october!! That's NEXT month! And we're close to the end of THIS month!! Read more here.

PLUS, my dad installed a second hard drive, and extra 300 some odd megabytes. Which means I can re-download W101 test, AND P101!!

Excitedness!

Anyway, that's my tidbit.

Proceed to GO and collect $200

The good thing: I just got my own lap top that runs on a battery and its totally awesome.

The problem: I have yet to download word, and I need to transfer all my files from my other computer (which is now my dads) onto this one.

:'(

Which means I can't write!!

Well... there's still google docs...

Anyway, that's my little tidbit of the day. Autumn is practically here, the leaves are falling off the trees, and it smell fantastic!

And also one last thing. I found this website via the awesomeness of blogger dashboard, called The Wizard101 Directory. It's a list of all the wizard101 blogs out there (or so the blog says), and if you want yours listed, just drop them an e-mail. And would you look at that! I'm on it!
* does happy dance *

So my weekend has been pretty awesome. How was you guys weekend?

The smell of freshly popped popcorn reminds me of Mooshu.

I don't know why. It's just one of those things that just is.

Also, the smell of rain reminds me of Tempest (ignore the redundancy there).

It's kind of a mix of "nostalgia" and "olfaction."

In quick conclusion, any of you guys have that? Some smell or sight or anything that reminds you of someone, someplace, or memory? It'd be cool to hear (read) yours.

Why I Hate Potbelly

It's sort of a mini story on my life. I realized that you guys don't know very much about my earlier days on W101. As a cool little tid bit, I started the game on January 1st (thus my wizversary is very easy to remember). Storm was the first school that I got, and I kept it.

Anyway, I basically knew absolutely nothing about the game. The friend that I heard about it from gave me sketchy information that didn't help at all. And if any of you recent joiners saw what the game used to be, you'd be like "wha..?"

Yeah, that's without the pet enhancements, the level cap was 50, dorms came pre-decorated, and there was no such a thing as crowns.

O:

No really, being at such a disadvantage as I was, the first time I discovered that clothing actually helped your status was by the time I was in Marlybone. So basically my time in Krokotopia was terrible and long.

But wait, let's go back even further to my time in Wizard City, to a very specific place.

Golem Court.

>.<

Even today, it is still ranked as my second most hated place to be. The Life Clockworks killed me so many times it's not even funny.
And then's the Potbelly.

You see, back then the GT boss's name was Potbelly. Rank Two Storm Elite.
It took so many tries to beat him. In fact I waited until level 25 or 26 until I finished my teacher quest and learned Tempest. I wish I had done it sooner, that spell is awesome, but Potbelly terrified me.

But wait, it gets worse.

Katzenstein's Lab dungeon.

I was stuck with three other guys (as it always seems to be the case, and, don't get me wrong, it's the worse situation one can be in. Believe me, I'll give the pristine example in Krokotopia another time). I was solving the floor-plate riddle thing when I get a text chat from one of the guys saying he needs help.

I'm like, okay, fine.

I teleport to him.

AND HE'S IN A BATTLE WITH THREE POTBELLIES.

At the time I didn't know how to take screen shots, which is a pity because I would love to show you my exclamations when a fourth one joined. Long story short, it involved a lot of caps and anger.

Enough said.

I guess my annoyance and anger towards Potbelly is irrational and immature, but it's one of those things that just doesn't go away. In conclusion Potbelly is the number one things I hate in W101.

Okay, that's my little story.
And oh hey! Glow sticks!

I love glow sticks.

I'll have to have a picture post some time soon too. You see, I have all these really old pictures that I transfered to my laptop before they got deleted from our PC. So these screen shots are old (really old). Mostly from my level 40 days. I think I also have some stored somewhere from my level 30 days. It's sad I have none from level 20 down.

Anywho.

Black Ivy still isn't posted (frowny face). I might send it in again, but its sequel is going good (that'd be Maelstrom), and that other weird one I started is starting to confuse even myself. And that's no good. If I'm confused, you guys have no hope.

The school year is going good so far, and yet I've missed two days. (Yes, Luke/Nathan, I was actually sick, it was practically an epidemic around our school).

:p

Whoa, whoa, whoa...

Okay, Word says that it should be 'a lot', but google docs says it should be 'alot'.....

It's a little off topic, but since school started, clearly I won't be posting as often. Nor will I be on W101 as much either (like I was on much to begin with...).

Anyway, every now and again, maybe once, twice, three times a week, I'll just post a quick little something. A tid bit if you will.

Something random about W101, something I read, grammar, funny sayings.

I guess it'll be kinda like a Facebook status.

Haha, oh gee. Facebook here now too?

Whatever.

Anyway, I'm home sick. Just a common cold. I was on W101 for a little while. Did Golem Tower with Sarai, then did it myself just for the fun of it.

Maybe next time I shall express my hatred for clockworks. Specifically Pot Belly..... >.< Boy do I have a story for you on that one.

Anyway, I just finished an essay on google docs, and I found out that you can add different kinds of fonts to your list. Well I find that very nice.

I also got a new idea for a fanfic.

T_T

Oh shush.

I'm not revealing details yet. Other than it takes place mostly in made-up areas of Krokotopia, and the main character is a Balance Wizard.

Did I ever tell you I made a Balance alt?

Haha, nope, I did not.

Well, I did. She's in KT now, level 18.

Don't worry, Sarai won't be neglected. And I'm still getting on frequently to see if anyone, absolutely anyone is at M's dungeon.

Otherwise.... Balance alt it is.

As for Black Ivy, part one still hasn't been posted on W101.

:(

My other, sequel-ish story, Maelstrom, is still going on.

You, see the thing about this new idea is that I'm writing it on a google doc. Thus, if I don't have my thumb drive with me, then I can work on this. School, someone else's computer, etc.

Anyway, if this new story actually goes anywhere, I'll post more about it.

Until then.
